What are the bushes for?
The bushes are small parts that play an essential role in the good shape of your mechanics. They reduce the noise caused by the vibrations of the different parts of your car, and they also serve as a link between certain parts, such as the shock absorber and the chassis, and prevent your parts from breaking.

When to change the bushes?
With use, the bushes wear out and their thickness decreases. Rubber bushes wear out more quickly because they are softer and the rubber can dry out as it ages and is subject to external stresses such as the weather. This is why it may be worthwhile to invest in polyurethane bushes such as the Powerflex Bush.
In general, the soft part of the bush should not sag more than 2 or 3mm. For original bushes, the rule is that they should be changed every 80,000 km or so.
Rubber bush or polyurethane bush?
Although rubber bushes are more affordable, they have a shorter lifespan due to a more fragile material that is more sensitive to hazards.
