CL BRAKES RC5+ front brake pads for CITROEN DS3 R3 Rallye or PEUGEOT 306 Kit Car Gr.A
Ideal for track days, lightweight cars and slippery race surfaces like gravel or wet tarmac, the RC5+ compound is versatile and well-mannered.
With lower noise, lower dust and a lower coefficient of friction than the RC5, it still keeps a very high maximum operating temperature (1800°F / 980°C!).
It is also extremely kind to discs and features a particularly low wear rate.
Requires use with a top-quality brake fluid bleed your brake system regularly.
Bedding in procedure: No particular bedding in necessary, thanks to CL Brakes' high metal content.
For use with new discs, let the system temperature rise gradually. For use with bedded-in discs, perform a few moderately hard stops.
Composition: Sintered metal, mainly graphite, ceramic, iron, copper and bronze. Free of lead, asbestos and nickel (CL Brakes patented NoNiTech technology) to protect the planet.
Thickness: 16 mm.
