CL BRAKES RC5+ brake pads for CITROEN Visa 1000 front
Ideal for track days, lightweight cars and slippery race surfaces like gravel or wet tarmac, the RC5+ compound is versatile and well-mannered. With lower noise, lower dust and a lower coefficient of friction than the RC6, it still keeps a very high maximum operating temperature (1800° F / 980° C!). It is also extremely kind to discs and features a particularly low wear rate.
Average friction coefficient of 0.4.
It has been winning races for 6 years now, thanks to its unbeatable efficiency/ease-of-use ratio.
It has extremely constant friction at a high level It requires very good quality brake fluid.
Running-in procedure:
No special running-in phase.
On new discs: Warm the system up gradually.
On discs already run-in: Perform a few medium brake pressure applications.
Use with high-quality brake fluid.
Bleed the brakes frequently.
Friction material made from sintered metal.
Main components: Graphite, ceramic, iron, copper and bronze.
For environmental reasons, this brake pad does not contain lead, asbestos or nickel (NoNiTech technology).
