VBOX Touch Motorsport

The VBOX Touch Motorsport is an extremely versatile data logger with a 10 Hz GPS receiver, a responsive colour touchscreen and the ability to run several types of applications on the same hardware.

The unit comes preloaded with a ""Performance"" application that has four operating modes and allows you to perform a variety of performance tests:
- Acceleration (km/h or mph): 0-60, 0-100, 100-200, 0-100-0, 0-¼ mile or 0-1000m (distance), etc. Possibility to set up your own tests.
- Deceleration (km/h or mph): 60-0, 100-0, 200-0, 300-0, 400-0, etc. Possibility to set your own tests.
- Lap times: display of the current reference lap time, real-time comparison of speed (Delta-V) or time (Delta-T) against the reference lap, last lap time, total session time, number of completed laps, etc.
Virtual start/finish lines: thanks to GPS, there is no need to use an external beacon or transmitter, the timing starts with the movement of the vehicle.
Integrated and updatable database of over 800 tracks.
- Current speed thanks to GPS: units can be set in km/h or mph and the display can show live speed, VMAX, average speed and distance. You can also set a target speed.

You can also download other apps with more advanced features for free from the Apps Store. Each app provides you with the information you need for a specific test, and the results are saved directly to the device's SD card. You can also export your test results as a CSV or VBO file for further analysis in Circuit Tools and VBOX Test Suite.
Examples of available applications:
- Tyre Temperature application: Measure, record and display the temperatures of all four tyres in real time via heat maps. (Requires the addition of the RACELOGIC* tyre temperature sensor).
- Brake Temperature"" application: Measure, record and display the temperatures of all four brake discs in real time. (Requires the addition of the RACELOGIC* brake temperature sensor).

Note: The applications are written in Python script, which allows you to create your own applications, including custom CAN applications to meet specific testing needs. New applications can be loaded by inserting an SD card containing the new script. If required you can easily revert to the basic settings by inserting the SD card containing the original data.
