SACHS clutch disc for Golf I or II 1.8 GTi
The SACHS pressure plate allows for higher transmittable torque and greater resistance to axial loads than standard clutches.
These clutches therefore have a much longer life span. With the shorter ratios, gear changes are faster and sportier.
Specially designed for Gr.A and Gr.N cars.
Fitted as a direct replacement for the standard part in most cases.
Disc type: Damped organic disc.
The damped organic disc comprises a primary disc with plates riveted to it.
Coaxial springs dampen vibrations between the friction plates and the primary disc which is fastened to the hub.
This is thus dampened within the limits of the spring compression, acting as a cushion for the transmission.
Suitable for road use.
Disc specifications:
- Clutch diameter: 210 mm
- Spline diameter: 18.3 mm
- Number of teeth: 24

- VOLKSWAGEN Golf 1 1.8 GTi from 1982 to 1983 (24-spline gearbox)
- VOLKSWAGEN Golf 2 1.8 GTi from 1982 to 1983 (24-spline gearbox).
