For optimal performance, be sure to observe the running-in phase described below:
1. Seal the chiller inlet to 3/4
2. Use ground (hard) plates
3. Gradually heat the discs for the first 15 kilometres.
4. Use the vehicle normally without being violent on the brakes.
5. Finish with 5 or 6 violent braking.
6. If thermal paints are used (reference CP26491) only the green paint (430°C) must have bleached and the orange must barely begin (560°C).

In order to operate at the highest efficiency and to last as long as possible, disc temperatures must be correct and balanced.
In general, all discs in a vehicle should operate at the same temperatures.
The maximum disc temperature must be in accordance with the quality of the pads used.
The disc faces must not exceed the maximum recommended temperatures for each type of insert.
