An innovative and durable ‘fuel economy’ synthetic engine lubricant specially developed for hybrid electric vehicles and rechargeable hybrids equipped with very recent petrol engines designed to use SAE 0W-16 grade oils with low friction and very low viscosity.

MOTUL NGen Hybrid 0W-16 is specially formulated to meet the technical challenges imposed by petrol hybrid vehicles, such as fuel dilution, water emulsion, high number of spurious stops/starts and lower oil temperature operating conditions.
This state of the art formulation is part of a whole new sustainable concept at Motul as it contains 25% premium regenerated base oils and is filled into a Motul canister made from 50% recycled plastic and 100% recyclable, allowing Motul to reduce its carbon footprint during the manufacturing process.

This dedicated formula can also be used for petrol engines requiring an SAE 0W-16 viscosity grade lubricant or a Fuel Economy 16 viscosity grade lubricant.
API SP-RC, API SP and ILSAC GF-6B standards.

MOTUL NGen Hybrid 0W-16 is also suitable for BEV-type electric vehicles equipped with a range-extending petrol engine.
Very good compatibility with catalytic converters and particulate filters.
Some engines are not designed to use this type of lubricant. Always consult your vehicle's service manual before use.
