Castrol Transmax ATF DX III Multivehicle Gear Oil (formerly Castrol Transmax Dex III Multivehicle) is an oil designed for automatic transmissions.

It is recommended for GM automatic transmissions before 2005 (Dexron II and III) and Ford automatic transmissions between 1983 and 1996 (Mercon).
It offers excellent thermal stability, high resistance to oxidation, improved friction coefficient characteristics, improved gear shifting and optimum driving comfort. Castrol Transmax ATF DX III Multivehicle is registered under the following ZF approval number: ZF003368.

Please note that this oil is not suitable for applications requiring Mercon V, Mercon SP or Dexron VI.
This oil replaces Castrol ATF Dex II Multivehicle.
