EBC BRAKES YELLOWSTUFF Rear Brake Pads for Subaru Impreza 2.0 Turbo & Forester
EBC's Yellowstuff is a true performance pad that's at home on the street as it is on the track. Its high friction coefficient (0.5), longevity and excellent performance at high temperatures have gained it a following in trackday or drift driving. But the Yellowstuff compound requires no warm up and offers great bite and high friction at cold temperatures, making it perfectly safe for highway and street use.
Brake pads for the following models:
- Subaru Forester 2.0 from 1997 to 2002
- Subaru Forester 2.0 Turbo from 1998 to 2002
- Subaru Impreza 2.0 Turbo from 1994 to 1996
- Subaru Impreza 2.0 Turbo from 1996 to 1998
- Subaru Legacy 2.0 Turbo (BC5) from 1992 to 1994
- Subaru Legacy 2.0 Turbo (BF5) from 1992 to 1994
- Subaru Legacy 2.0 Twin Turbo (BG5) from 1993 to 1996
- Subaru Legacy 2.0 Twin Turbo (BG5) from 1996 to 1998
- Subaru Legacy 2.5 (BD9) from 1996 to 1999
- Subaru Legacy 2.5 (BG9) from 1996 to 1999
- Subaru Legacy 2.5 (BD9) from 1996 to 1999
- Subaru Legacy 2.5 (BG9) from 1996 to 1999
Please verify that the pads will be compatible with your brake calipers.
IMPORTANT: these performance pads require careful bedding in. EBC Brakes recommends the following:
-To bring the pads to the right temperature and position, apply a series of light taps to the brake pedal while driving at low speeds (40 to 50 kmh / 25 to 40 mph). Never brake violently at the beginning of the bedding in process; doing so risks freezing your pads, causing permanent and irreversible damage.
-After several kilometers, gradually increase pedal pressure. After approximately 20 km, you can brake firmly 4 to 5 times, letting your brakes cool between each application.
-Allow your brakes to cool completely before using again.
