EBC BRAKES YELLOWSTUFF Front Brake Pads for Porsche 928 or 911 993/964
EBC's Yellowstuff is a true performance pad that's at home on the street as it is on the track. Its high friction coefficient (0.5), longevity and excellent performance at high temperatures have gained it a following in trackday or drift driving. But the Yellowstuff compound requires no warm up and offers great bite and high friction at cold temperatures, making it perfectly safe for highway and street use.
Brake pads for the following models:
- Porsche 911 (964) 3.6 Turbo from 1992 to 1993, Brembo calipers
- Porsche 911 (993) 3.6 Carrera 4S from 1996 to 1997, Brembo calipers
- Porsche 911 (993) 3.6 Turbo 4 from 1995 to 1997, Brembo calipers
- Porsche 911 (993) 3.6 Turbo GT2 from 1995 to 1997, Brembo calipers
- Porsche 911 (993) 3.6 Turbo GT2 4 from 1995 to 1997, Brembo calipers
- Porsche 911 (993) 3.8 Carrera RS from 1995 to 1997, Brembo calipers
- Porsche 911 (993) 3.8 Carrera RS 4 from 1995 to 1997, Brembo calipers
- Porsche 928 5.4 from 1992 to 1995, Brembo calipers
- Porsche 968 3.0 Turbo from 1992 to 1994, Brembo calipers
Please verify that the pads will be compatible with your brake calipers.
IMPORTANT: these performance pads require careful bedding in. EBC Brakes recommends the following:
-To bring the pads to the right temperature and position, apply a series of light taps to the brake pedal while driving at low speeds (40 to 50 kmh / 25 to 40 mph). Never brake violently at the beginning of the bedding in process; doing so risks freezing your pads, causing permanent and irreversible damage.
-After several kilometers, gradually increase pedal pressure. After approximately 20 km, you can brake firmly 4 to 5 times, letting your brakes cool between each application.
-Allow your brakes to cool completely before using again.
