Sale of NGK iridium candles

Find NGK spark plugs for efficient ignition of your car engine. Popular with many rally drivers, NGK produces high quality materials for sports and customised vehicles. Their wide range of spark plugs can be adapted to all your needs by using different materials for different purposes. Standard, platinum and iridium spark plugs each have their own special properties and offer unrivalled advantages over the competition.

What are spark plugs for?

The spark plug is located at the top of the engine. Screwed into a cylinder head, one end is visible while the other is immersed in the combustion chamber. There, the spark plug is supplied with current by the coil in order to produce the sparks necessary for combustion. These sparks allow the petrol/air mixture in the engine to ignite and generate the force that drives the pistons and the crankshaft. Spark plugs are an essential part of the engine's and your vehicle's operation in general and should be monitored to ensure they are working properly.

When to change spark plugs?

In principle, it is recommended that you check your spark plugs every 30,000 km, although they may last longer. A poorly functioning spark plug reduces the efficiency of the engine and can damage the catalytic converter. On a sporty vehicle it is necessary to have a good pick-up and therefore a fast combustion. Sporting use of a vehicle wears out spark plugs more quickly and it is recommended that they are checked frequently to ensure that they are in good condition.

Why choose NGK spark plugs?

NGK spark plugs offer fast and efficient combustion, which ensures that your engine can be started quickly and reliably. This is why NGK has become the number one spark plug specialist in motorsport. Their quality, technicality and high resistance make them top-of-the-range products on the market. NGK spark plugs are compatible with a wide range of vehicles and are available in different versions, including :

  • Standard spark plugs: NGK standard spark plugs combine specialist know-how and high standards with the optimisation of the latest, most efficient technologies while minimising the impact on the environment.
  • Platinium spark plugs: Platinium spark plugs have a platinum alloy disc on the centre electrode (single platinum plug) or on the ground and centre electrode (double platinum plug), which increases the operating time of the plug and improves performance even under the most extreme conditions. The smaller electrode size reduces the required voltage and ensures optimum combustion of the mixture in the combustion chamber.
  • Iridium spark plugs: NGK Iridium IX spark plugs are the most technically advanced solution on the market. They have a fine Iridium tip on the centre electrode, which is laser-welded in a special process. Iridium is a precious metal and one of the strongest materials in the world. It starts to melt from 2450°C and is particularly resistant to electrical erosion created by the spark. As a result, the life of an Iridium spark plug is 2.5 times longer than that of a standard spark plug.
