The SmartyCam HD 2.1: the sports onboard camera

The SMARTYCAM HD 2.1 camera is ideal for motor sports such as karting, rallying and track days. It allows you to film and record quality images in extreme conditions. This car camera is available in several versions. The SmartyCam HD 2.1 AIM cameras with an 84° lens and a 2M or 4M CAN cable are perfect for open vehicles dedicated to Formula 1, karts, etc. However, the 67° lens and 2M or 4M CAN cable are more suitable for closed vehicles.

The SmartyCam GP HD 2.2 AIM camera

It is a remote camera. Robust and light, the SmartyCam GP HD 2.2 is particularly easy to install. It can be installed both inside and outside the car. The camera itself weighs 45 g and its recorder 320 g. Its rechargeable lithium battery with a capacity of 1500 mAH allows about 60 to 70 minutes of recording. The memory can record up to 4GB.

As with all AIM cameras, this model offers impressive image quality in extreme conditions and without wave effects. With a size of 2.4", the screen has a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The recorded videos are in H.264 format 1280 x 720 pixels. This karting camera is also IP67 certified. The camera can be switched on and off automatically, provided that the device is connected to an AIM Logger. Several versions are available for this model: cameras with a 67° and 120° lens. The length of the CAN cable varies between 2 and 4M.

Solo 2DL stopwatch kit, SmartyCam HD 2.1 and mounting bracket

As its name indicates, this kit combines the SmartyCam HD 2.1, the Solo 2DL stopwatch and the dedicated mounting bracket. It is one of the new products of the moment. The GPS and GLONASS technology integrated in the Solo 2DL stopwatch gives you key information such as lap times, number of laps and lead or lag on the current lap. More than 4000 tracks around the world are stored in the database. Of course, it is possible to choose automatically the nearest track according to the position.
