The external power cable is an essential accessory if you want to power your camera from your vehicle's 12V system and not worry about its battery level.
The supplied external microphone allows you to place it in a more convenient position, protecting it from the wind for better sound quality.

AIM Smartycam 3 Corsa.
AIM Smartycam 3 GP.

AIM Smartycam HD 2.1.

Please note: This power cable is not required if you are connecting the SmartyCam to a recorder or dashboard as power will be supplied to the camera via the CAN connection.
