After the design process, the starting point for the production of a quality Speedline rim is the casting. The majority of Speedline's rim production uses low pressure, multi-injection technology with ALSi7. Speedline has its own heat treatment facilities, ensuring that process control is rigorously monitored.
Following heat treatment and subsequent quality control measures (e.g. X-ray testing) Speedline's CNC machining centres accurately mould the individual parts.
Once the rims have been machined and washed, they are transferred to one of Speedline's automated paint plants. Here the rims are painted in accordance with the strictest environmental standards.
The Speedline production process is a unique solution to a common problem: how to make a wheel both light and strong. Speedline's profiling method is unique in the rim production industry.

This structural design, combined with the exceptional casting quality required for the moulding process, gives the rim enormous mechanical strength and elongation. Because of these mechanical characteristics, Speedline is able to reduce the thickness of the rim surface, which reduces weight, without compromising strength.

Speedline: The strength of experience

The Speedline group was founded in 1976, originally as a small artisanal company specialising in the manufacture of racing car wheels. The very first wheels produced were for the Ferrari Formula 1 team, with a world championship title quickly following.
Since then, the company has gradually improved its knowledge and technology to the point where it is widely recognised as the leading producer of high quality, state-of-the-art alloy wheels.
Today, Speedline is still a specialist alloy wheel manufacturer, primarily in the areas of original equipment supply to many of Europe's leading car manufacturers, motorsport and aftermarket wheels.
However, the scale of Speedline's operations has changed somewhat during this period. Now part of the Ronal Group, the original factory based in Tabina is still in place, fully modernised and worthy of many OE accreditations.
OE wheels produced by Speedline can be seen on many of Europe's most prestigious and exotic sports cars. Customers include Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche and Maserati, as well as many other car manufacturers. The strength and depth of experience within the company is unrivalled.
Speedline's motorsport heritage is second to none. Speedline wheels have helped leading teams and drivers win no less than 86 FIA sanctioned world championship titles, including Formula 1, World Rally Championship, Sports Prototypes, Rally Raid and Rallycross.
