Find Champion spark plugs for ignition whatever your car engine. A legendary brand used by many rally drivers, Champion designs high quality materials for sports and custom vehicles. Their high performance spark plugs offer efficient combustion and improve the performance and health of your vehicle.

What are spark plugs for?

Spark plugs are located in the upper part of the engine. Screwed into a cylinder head, one end of the spark plugs is visible while the other end is immersed in the combustion chamber. There, the spark plugs are supplied with current by the coil in order to produce the sparks necessary for combustion. These sparks enable the petrol/air mixture in the engine to ignite and generate the force that drives the pistons. Spark plugs are therefore an essential part of the operation of the engine and your vehicle in general.

When to change spark plugs?

In principle, it is recommended that you check your spark plugs every 30,000 km, although they may last longer. A poorly functioning spark plug reduces the efficiency of the engine and can damage the catalytic converter. On a sporty vehicle it is necessary to have a good pick-up and therefore a fast combustion. Sporting use of a vehicle wears out spark plugs more quickly and it is recommended that they are checked frequently to ensure that they are in good condition.

Why choose Champion spark plugs?

CHAMPION spark plugs offer maximum performance regardless of the engine or ignition type. They produce a more concentrated spark which allows for accelerated combustion, reduced fouling and resistance to extreme temperatures and pressures.
