PAGID Brake Pads Shape 2405 RSL29 Compound

The RSL29 has very good modulation and release characteristics. It is a low-metal resin-based compound containing steel and aramid fibers. The friction level of the compound remains constant at a low-medium level. Another advantage is the ease of installation.

Very popular in club races and track days. GT cars, touring cars and endurance racing prototypes. Thanks to its excellent modulation characteristics, it is also often used in speed races.

Step 1 - Break-in
Creation of a perfect contact between the disc and the surface of the brake pad.
10 stops with average pressure at low temperature to go from 150 km/h to about 80 km/h without locking the wheels.

Step 2 - Temperature rise
Warm-up of the entire braking system.
A sequence of 5 stops with medium to high pressure to go from 180 km/h to around 60 km/h without locking the wheels with maximum acceleration between stops.

Step 3 - Recovery
3 to 5 stops with medium pressure to go from 150 km/h to about 80 km/h without locking the wheels.
