Sale of Yacco engine oils
Find on Oreca-Store.com, the motor sport specialist, the complete range of Yacco engine oils. Essential for the good functioning of your car, these oils are available in several ranges to meet the different uses of your engine.
What is the purpose of engine oil?
An essential element for the good functioning of your car, engine oil lubricates the parts that come into contact with each other during the operation of your car. By preventing friction, oil reduces noise, reduces wear on parts and recovers the waste produced by the erosion of parts and carries it to the oil filter. When servicing your car, especially when changing the oil, it is important to ensure that you have a clean and healthy oil to enable your engine to perform better and make more power.
Why choose Yacco oil?
Founded in 1919 by Jean Dintilhac, Yacco has built its reputation on the production of engine oil, coolant and hydraulic fluid for cars. Over the years, Yacco has enjoyed many sporting and technical successes through the continuous development of high performance products. As the first company to stabilise hydrocarbons by adding additives, Yacco has enabled its partners to break numerous world records. The Citroën programmes, implemented since 1931, have notably achieved the feat of breaking 522 records to date. These mythical feats have helped build the legend of Yacco products, whose reputation still resonates today. Among these products, Yacco motor oils have been and still are very successful. Their natural and synthetic properties make them exceptional products that meet the highest requirements, especially for sports cars and historic vehicles.
Which Yacco engine oil should I choose?
There are different ranges of Yacco oil, each one meeting different needs and configurations. For racing cars or sports cars, the Galaxie range of Yacco oils should be chosen.
These engine oils have different viscosity levels which should be chosen according to the level of dilution of the oil in the fuel of your engine:
- For engines with low dilution of oil in the fuel, you can opt for oils with a lower viscosity grade such as Yacco's Galaxie 5W30
- For engines with medium dilution of oil in the fuel, it may be interesting to turn to a Yacco Galaxie 0w40 oil
- Finally, to resist higher temperatures and to meet the needs of engines subject to rapid dilution of the oil in the fuel, Yacco Galaxie 10w60 oil will be a perfect option
For historic vehicles, Yacco has developed a Legend range which is available in a Monograde version (for historic vehicles often prior to 1950) or a Multigrade version (which is used exclusively in engines which accept detergent oil (rebuilt engines)).
