Spring Kompact Soft Blue (-0.10 to -0.44 bar)

Turbosmart Kompact Soft Blue Spring (-0.10 to -0.44 bar)

Turbosmart is a leading Australian manufacturer specializing in turbo engine tuning, active since 1997 under the motto "Engineered to Win." A long-standing specialist in dump valves (blow-off valves), the brand designs, machines, and tests its products in-house to guarantee reliability, sealing, and performance.

The Kompact range is Turbosmart's entry point into the world of dump valves (BOVs): it targets stock or lightly modified vehicles used on the road, for power outputs up to around 400 hp. It directly replaces the original plastic valve with a body machined from anodized billet aluminum and a lightweight precision piston, which eliminate compressor surge and the boost leaks typical of aging OEM valves. Available in Dual Port (atmospheric sound + recirculation) or Plumb Back (fully recirculating, quiet, MAF-compatible) versions, with interchangeable springs to adjust opening pressure. It is the best-selling range in its category worldwide: a reliable, robust, and very affordable replacement, while the BOV5 and RacePort ranges target more intensive use (track, high power).

Soft (blue) replacement spring for Turbosmart Kompact range dump valves. It sets the piston preload, the vacuum threshold at which the valve opens and closes.

The blue spring covers a range of -0.10 to -0.44 bar: the softest spring in the range, suited to low boost levels and engines with strong factory idle vacuum. A correctly chosen spring prevents premature opening (pressure leaks, fluttering) and ensures a crisp response on every lift-off.

Lets you fine-tune valve behavior to match your boost pressure and application.
