What is the Hybrid device?

Like HANS®, the Hybrid device is a head restraint system.
The helmet is held in place by 4 straps: 2 to the front and 2 to the rear.
The system thus provides all-round protection, whereas the HANS® device is only effective in the event of a head-on collision.
The straps are linked to a kind of tunic made up of a rigid section and tethers, all closely fitted on the driver.
The user’s chest and collar bones are unrestricted and the lower profile of the helmet back maximises comfort and freedom of movement.

Made from composite material, the Sport is a further development of the popular Pro Rage entry-level Hybrid device: Weight reduction of almost 25%, better control of the shoulder belts and further developed slide function of straps connected to the helmet.
The Hybrid is delivered with straps and quick-release type straps and anchoring points so you can remove your helmet from the Hybrid device in a fraction of a second, simply by pulling the yellow straps.
It is also available with HANS® tethers (ref. 607HS11PA).
