MSD Digital 6AL-2 Programmable ignition control

MSD ignition modules have the special feature of producing 3 sparks per cylinder up to 3000rpm, significantly increasing the torque and handling of your engine.
Above 3,000rpm, a single spark remains lit for 20⁰ of the crankshaft rotation, ensuring complete combustion of the air/fuel mixture in each cylinder.
The MSD 6AL-2 Programmable sends a pulse of more than 535 volts to the coil, and offers a spark energy of up to 135 millijoules.

This version of the 6AL-2 allows you to programme your ignition advance over the entire rev range to get the maximum power from your engine.
Connection via PC with the cable supplied, requires installation of the ‘MSD Pro Data +’ software.

This module can be used on 4, 6 and 8-cylinder engines.
It can be used in conjunction with a platinum screw igniter, an electronic igniter or an electronic amplifier.

This ignition module offers two rev limiters:
- A standard rev limiter to protect your engine.
- Another rev limiter that can be used for launch control: limiting the revs to a certain level when you engage the clutch.
To do this, several rotary switches are fitted on the box, offering adjustment to within 100 rpm for each limiter.

Supplied with all connectors, harnesses and accessories required for installation.
