MOTUL brake fluid DOT4 LV - 500ML

MOTUL DOT4 LV (Low Viscosity) is specially recommended for hydraulic brake and clutch control circuits in vehicles equipped with ESP (Electronic Stability Program), ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and ASR (Acceleration Slip Regulation) systems thanks to its high boiling point and improved performance at low temperatures.

Standards: FMVSS 116 DOT 4, DOT 3; SAE J 1703, SAE J1704; ISO 4925 (Classes 3, 4 & 6)

The very high wet boiling point (172°C / 241.6°F) of MOTUL DOT 4 LV is higher than a conventional DOT 4 fluid (155°C min / 311°F min) and has a DOT 3 (140°C min / 284°F min) which allows the product to be used longer.
Indeed, DOT 3, DOT 4 brake fluids have the property of absorbing moisture from the air, which lowers their boiling point and therefore the safety of braking.
The wet boiling point is representative of the condition of the fluid after 1 year of use.

The viscosity (675 mm²/s at -40°C) of MOTUL DOT 4 LV is lower than the conventional fluids DOT 3 (up to 1500 mm²/s), DOT 4 (up to 1800 mm²/s) and DOT 5.1 (up to 900 mm²/s) allowing the fluid to flow more easily through the micro-valves for better ESP, ABS and ASR response time.
Perfectly neutral with seals used in braking systems. Anti-corrosion.

Miscible with DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 NON SILICONE BASE products.
