These lightweight, durable competition connecting rods are used in many competition engines.
They are ideal for highly prepared engines developing more than 1.5x their original power.
Made from high-quality steel, heat-treated and balanced, XTREM Motorsport connecting rods leave nothing to chance!
In addition to their solidity, these connecting rods offer significant weight savings: up to 100 grams per rod. This lightness allows the engine to get its power very high up the rev range.
XTREM reinforced connecting rod kits come with ARP L19 bolts and washers, which are even more resistant than the popular ARP 2000 (see tightening stages below).

CAUTION: ARP L19 bolts and nuts are sensitive to corrosion and must be used with care.
When tightening the connecting rod bolts, lubricate the thread and bearing surface with a molybdenum paste.
Torque in three stages to achieve the recommended stretch (between 150 and 170 microns -> 0.15 / 0.17 mm).
ARP L19 3/8":
1: Tightening phase at 2.5 m.kgf.
2 : Tightening phase at 4.5 m.kgf.
3 : Tightening phase at 6.5 m.kgf.
