The Kompact range is Turbosmart's entry point into the world of dump valves (BOVs): it targets stock or lightly modified vehicles used on the road, for power outputs up to around 400 hp. It directly replaces the original plastic valve with a body machined from anodized billet aluminum and a lightweight precision piston, which eliminate compressor surge and the boost leaks typical of aging OEM valves. Available in Dual Port (atmospheric sound + recirculation) or Plumb Back (fully recirculating, quiet, MAF-compatible) versions, with interchangeable springs to adjust opening pressure. It is the best-selling range in its category worldwide: a reliable, robust, and very affordable replacement, while the BOV5 and RacePort ranges target more intensive use (track, high power).

A particular feature of these AMG 45 models: they have no original bypass valve at all, so they suffer from pronounced compressor surge, especially harmful given the A45's roughly 26 PSI of boost, a real risk to the turbo bearings. In the Plumb Back version, 100% of the air is recirculated to the intake: quiet, close-to-stock operation that doesn't upset the airflow meter or ECU.
