The Kompact range is Turbosmart's entry point into the world of dump valves (BOVs): it targets stock or lightly modified vehicles used on the road, for power outputs up to around 400 hp. It directly replaces the original plastic valve with a body machined from anodized billet aluminum and a lightweight precision piston, which eliminate compressor surge and the boost leaks typical of aging OEM valves. Available in Dual Port (atmospheric sound + recirculation) or Plumb Back (fully recirculating, quiet, MAF-compatible) versions, with interchangeable springs to adjust opening pressure. It is the best-selling range in its category worldwide: a reliable, robust, and very affordable replacement, while the BOV5 and RacePort ranges target more intensive use (track, high power).

Turbosmart Kompact Shortie Dual Port dump valve (BOV) designed for the Mini Cooper S R56 (2006-2013) and John Cooper Works (2010-2013). The "Shortie" version uses the race-proven 28 mm positive-sealing piston technology in a compact format suited to bypass valves mounted directly on the turbo's compressor housing.

Direct bolt-on replacement for the original plastic valve, which cracks and develops leaks with age, heat, and rising boost pressure. O-ring-sealed piston plus a body machined from billet aluminum: pressure resistance above 30 psi and Boost-Balance technology (sealing improves as pressure increases).

Dual Port valve with a fixed 50/50 split: part of the air returns to the intake (ECU kept happy), while the rest is vented to atmosphere for the characteristic Turbosmart sound.

Supplied with straight and banjo fittings, mounting screws, and clamps.
