The Kompact range is Turbosmart's entry point into the world of dump valves (BOVs): it targets stock or lightly modified vehicles used on the road, for power outputs up to around 400 hp. It directly replaces the original plastic valve with a body machined from anodized billet aluminum and a lightweight precision piston, which eliminate compressor surge and the boost leaks typical of aging OEM valves. Available in Dual Port (atmospheric sound + recirculation) or Plumb Back (fully recirculating, quiet, MAF-compatible) versions, with interchangeable springs to adjust opening pressure. It is the best-selling range in its category worldwide: a reliable, robust, and very affordable replacement, while the BOV5 and RacePort ranges target more intensive use (track, high power).

Universal Turbosmart Kompact Dual Port dump valve (BOV) with 20 mm inlet/outlet, as a direct bolt-on replacement for original Bosch or Denso plastic bypass valves. Suits most turbo setups using this type of factory valve (e.g. Subaru Legacy/Liberty 2009-2010) as well as custom builds using 20 mm fittings.

Dual Port configuration: split between recirculation to the intake and venting to atmosphere. The sequential port operation ensures discreet driving at low boost (ECU kept happy) while delivering the sound and performance of an atmospheric vent under sustained driving or on track.

Thanks to the supplied port blanking plug, it can easily be converted into a 100% atmospheric or 100% recirculating (bypass) valve, depending on the intended use. Body machined from anodized billet aluminum with a lightweight precision piston: far superior durability and pressure resistance compared to the original plastic part, and elimination of compressor surge.
