The BOV5 (Type 5) range is Turbosmart's intermediate tier, for serious road performance and track use, supporting power levels of roughly 500 to 700 hp depending on configuration. It covers several valve families from 25 to 38 mm, in universal versions or ones specific to iconic vehicles: Vee Port Pro (compact VTA, optimized flow), Dual Port (dual outlet, versatile for road/track), Plumb Back (full recirculation, MAF-compatible), Supersonic (signature distinctive sound), and Smart Port (the most refined sequential-timing Dual Port). All benefit from Turbosmart's Boost-Balance technology, which seals the valve more tightly as boost pressure rises. This is the go-to range for going beyond a simple direct replacement, with a genuine choice of vent styles and sizes.

Turbosmart Vee Port Pro atmospheric (VTA) dump valve, bolt-on installation on Subaru WRX, STI, and Forester XT, replacing the original valve. No fabrication required, fits with the original hardware and supplied gasket.

An evolution of the VeePort: 20% more compact and 33% lighter, BOV5 architecture. 38 mm piston and Boost-Balance technology: flow equivalent to ~600 hp and strong pressure resistance, with a sharp atmospheric turbo sound.

Billet aluminum body, hard-anodized 38 mm piston, positive-sealing O-ring, aluminum V-band clamp, 360°-swivel banjo, cap-adjustable preload (piston stays firmly closed at idle to prevent stalling).
