Dump Valve BOV5 Supersonic – Mazda/Subaru

Turbosmart BOV5 Supersonic Dump Valve – Mazda / Subaru

Turbosmart is a leading Australian manufacturer specializing in turbo engine tuning, active since 1997 under the motto "Engineered to Win." A long-standing specialist in dump valves (blow-off valves), the brand designs, machines, and tests its products in-house to guarantee reliability, sealing, and performance.

The BOV5 (Type 5) range is Turbosmart's intermediate tier, for serious road performance and track use, supporting power levels of roughly 500 to 700 hp depending on configuration. It covers several valve families from 25 to 38 mm, in universal versions or ones specific to iconic vehicles: Vee Port Pro (compact VTA, optimized flow), Dual Port (dual outlet, versatile for road/track), Plumb Back (full recirculation, MAF-compatible), Supersonic (signature distinctive sound), and Smart Port (the most refined sequential-timing Dual Port). All benefit from Turbosmart's Boost-Balance technology, which seals the valve more tightly as boost pressure rises. This is the go-to range for going beyond a simple direct replacement, with a genuine choice of vent styles and sizes.

Turbosmart BOV5 Supersonic dump valve, 100% atmospheric (vent-to-atmosphere) discharge, designed as a direct replacement for the original valve on Mazda (3/6 MPS) and Subaru (WRX) models. Bolt-on installation on the factory mounting points.

BOV5 platform: billet aluminum body, 38 mm piston with positive sealing, Boost-Balance technology, quick-lock V-band clamp, and cap-adjustable spring preload. Bold turbo sound on every lift-off.
