DAVIES CRAIG Digital controller kit

This controller regulates the speed of your Davies Craig electric water pump based on measured coolant temperature, and switches the fans on and off according to user-defined temperature thresholds. It replaces the engine's mechanical thermostat. After ignition shutdown, the pump and fans continue to run for up to 3 minutes if required, dissipating residual heat (anti heat-soak).

Electrical specifications

• Operating voltage: 12 or 24 V.
• Maximum current: 12 A.
• Compatible with all Davies Craig fans, EWP® and EBP pumps.

Temperature control

• Set point range: 40 °C to 110 °C (104 °F to 230 °F), push-button adjustment.
• Independent activation temperatures for Fan 1 and Fan 2, enabling staged start-up and reducing electrical load spikes.
• Programmable settings: pump target temperature, fan activation/deactivation thresholds, cut-off temperature, sensor calibration offset ±5 °C.
• Switchable °C / °F display.

Display and interface

• Colour LCD screen showing real-time temperature, set point and operating status of each output (EWP, Fan 1, Fan 2).
• Adjustable brightness, multiple levels.
• In-cabin mounting, several mounting options supplied.

Controls and safety

• Manual override via dedicated wires: 2 fans + 1 pump (continuous forced operation, suitable for A/C integration among other uses).
• Audible alarm and visual warnings: overheating, voltage irregularities, system faults.
• Sensor fault detection with corresponding error code display.
• Built-in self-diagnostic functions.

Temperature sensing

Coolant temperature sensing only (no air or transmission temperature measurement). Sensor can be installed in-line in the radiator hose using the supplied adapter, or in a threaded port with adapter #0465 (not included).

Controller, temperature sensor, wiring harness, in-line hose adapter, mounting options and installation instructions.

Warranty

3 years or 2,000 hours of operation, whichever occurs first, covering manufacturing defects under normal use.
