The PSS is specifically designed to measure absolute pressure in direct fuel injection applications. This sensor is also compatible with other types of fluids such as diesel, engine oil, transmission oil, or brake fluid. It uses a thin-film technique to provide highly accurate pressure measurements. The stainless steel measuring cells with piezoresistive bridges are hermetically welded with stainless steel pressure ports.
