PAGID RSL29 brake pads for AUDI A1 A3 TT or VOLKSWAGEN Golf V/VI front
Competition brake pads originally designed for endurance races.
Its constant level of performance across a wide range of temperatures makes it ideal for many different applications: GT, rally, track days, etc.
Low pad and disc wear.
Compound derived from the RSL19 pad with a slightly higher friction coefficient (sharper initial bite).
For greater comfort, they only require low pedal effort.
This brake pad requires very thorough running-in for optimal use. You must therefore carefully comply with the running-in procedure.
Brake pad colour: Yellow
Running-in procedure recommended by Pagid:
Stage 1:
Carrying out 6 medium braking operations (slowing down from around 100 to 60 km/h - do not block the wheels).
Drive 300-400 metres between each of these medium braking operations.
The brake pads must not exceed 400° during this first stage.
Check that at least 80% of the pad surface comes into contact with the disc.
Stage 2:
This stage should be done immediately after completing stage 1.
Apply medium to strong braking pressure (slowing down from around 130 to 60 km/h - do not block the wheels).
Brake lightly 3 or 4 times
Then carry out 3 medium to strong braking operations (slowing down from 130 to 60 km/h - do not block the wheels), with several light braking operations between each stage.
Drive 500 metres between each of strong braking operation.
