PAGID RS42 Rear Brake Pads for Porsche 944 or 993
Pagid's most versatile brake pad, used in applications from single seaters to rally to circuit racing to track days. The RS42 compound sets itself apart with an excellent low temperature response - it has a friction coefficient of 0.51 at only 200°C - but also stays stable over a wide range, up to 800°C. Medium initial bite and low disc wear.
Colour: Blue
For optimal use, please follow Pagid's recommended bedding-in procedure carefully:
Step 1: Six applications with medium pedal pressure, braking from approximately 100 to 60 kmh (60 to 40 mph) without locking wheels. The pads should not reach temperatures above 400°C during this step.Verify that at least 80% of the pad surface is in contact with the disc before continuing.
Step 2: Immediately after step 1, one application with medium to high pedal pressure, braking from approximately 130 to 60 kmh (80 to 40 mph) without locking wheels. Follow by three to four light brake applications, then again three high speed brake applications including three light brake applications in between. Drive at least 500 metres without braking between each high speed application.
